All i did was layer card on top of one another, the watch clasp is glued on with epoxy, and ok i tell ya how i got the colour, its a layer of pva glue first, then metallic paint, then i used a heatgun which discolours the metallic paint, thats it really :P the rest is just pieces from clocks and the like

May I ask how you made it?
I really want to make one myself, but I can't bring myself to do one with leather or anything, because it's hard to find cheaply.

Did you just lay cardboard (or perhaps something else?) on the top for the popped out areas? Did you use paint?

Sorry to ask all this. I'm just really curious! If you'd rather not tell that's fine.

Yep just used cardboard really, although for some of the others i have used actual metal pieces for the raised sections. I dont want to tell how i got the colour as its a technique i figured out on my own but its not really a very hard process so im sure people will figure it out.For making your own with leather,Charity shops are your best friend or car boot sales, buy an old book and recycle it :P

"A curious object, one of its kind. A prototype "Liberated" from a one Johness Sabortini, late of Crispet academy. It is a book imbued with advanced spellwraught intelegence, its eye taking in the world around it and relaying information to and from its Intelect Prism core. It contains a comprehensive library of knowledge, rivaling that of the Imperian Government Archives. For a traveler at large, it may well be the first in a line of indespensible tools."

Beautiful! Is it handbound, or did you mod an existing notebook? Either way, it's a wonderful piece of work.
